Is your mortgage payment a bit much? Or is that pesky ARM ready to rise again? You don't have to succumb to foreclosure. You can always try and negotiate your interest rate with your lender. They want you to stay out of foreclosure just as much as you do!
But how do you get the best rate? Your best bet is to use a company that specializes in this. I suggust Funded.com - Click Here. For a fee they will be your negotiator and get you a new lower rate which not only can significantly lower your monthly payment, but save you thousands in the long run!

Money Saving Tip For October, 14th 2008

You need/want new furniture, but buying new just isn't an option. For those of us who have the joy of a nice cold winter, scouting the garage sales isn't a good alternative. But you can also save some time and a lot of money by shopping around on Craigslist - Click Here.
There are three different sections to target your hunt for the perfect coffee table or couch: The barter section, The Free section, and of course Furniture. In the furniture section I often see actual business advertising items for a steal! Otherwise with a little patience and some hunting around you can find a great piece for a fraction of the price!

Money Saving Tip For October, 13th 2008

As with most things lately the price of food is going up significantly and isn't one of those things we can just cut out of our spending. Fortunately, coupons are better than ever! But it's more than just using a coupon, anyone can do that. You need to pull as much out of that coupon as possible!

1) Get over your brand loyalty.
We all have brands we prefer but of course there never seems to be coupons for them. Now is the time to put that loyalty aside and try something new....that has a coupon. You never know, you might find a new favorite and save at the same time!

2) Plan your meals around your coupons.
Planning meals alone can save you from buying things you don't need, but you can really maximize your savings by planning around the coupon and the sale the grocery store may be having. Say you have a coupon for $.75 off pasta sauce, and the grocery store is running a non-coupon sale on that same item, you could easily save $1.00 or more on that one item!

3) Organize your coupons
Make a small investment of a coupon organizer. While you may go through coupons thinking you won't need this item in the short term, you may need it in a month or two. Also this will make things easier as you shop and at the check out line. (You don't want to be that annoying unorganized coupon lady....you know who you are out there!)
